Sea Turtles

Millions of years ago sea turtle have walked with dinosaurs. Once an adult sea turtle reaches breeding age she lays eggs under the sand. Sadly only 800 out of 1OOO eggs hatch, but that means bad luck for those 800  because they have to try and crawl away from or fight off people and or predators such and, crabs, tiger shark, killer whale, great white sharks, seagulls, & bumper sharks. Only 400 make it to sea because of those predators, 200 carry on swimming, 20 have babies and 2 of all those 20 mums and dads live till’ old aged death. After the first set of turtles have their kids the cycle starts all over again, good grief.  Most life cycles are never- ending but not this one the, sea turtles are RARE coz animals and people kill and eat them.

Rutherford Cooking.

Rutherford Cooking: Mashed potato's

• Peel potato
• Cut potato in even 8th's
• Put potato's in pot with water just covering
• Put pot on stove and adjust to your liking/needs
• Wait until soft and turn off the stove unit
• Put pot on a WOODEN chop board and mash your potato's, your meant to use a potato masher but we just used a whisk to mash
• With the whisk, whisk the potato's whilst pouring light blue lidded milk into the pot
• Keep whisking until nice and creamy don't put too much milk in or it'll get runny
• Serve on plate with chips
• ENJOY (and make others jealous of your awesome snake)

We go on    THURSDAY    but we only have two more Thursday's until we STOP.

2017 W1T1~ First week at school!!!

Hi it's Zyeisha, and now it is 2017.
This week is super exciting because it is the first week of school! This week we have been doing a lot of work like, self portraits, how to be more awesome, holiday wheels, and we just finished doing a silly spelling test, it was fun because they were made up words. I made new friends named, Kyra and Lilly. We also did name tag things for the clock bay, we also received our lap tops we got the black HP's. There are some new kids at our school, I don't know their names but I saw about 20.
